Hang the Dog
I flipped through the newspaper and saw an ad for a missing dog called Hang. I went outside and saw it up the ring (a local park) so I brought it back home and put him in my room. I couldn’t call owner because it was 5am, so I just waited. After a while, Mother got up. I told her about the dog and she said to wait until morning. Hang climbed in my bed to sleep beside me. I said we needed to brush ourselves before we went to sleep, so he lay there and licked himself.
Later, I posted a Dara O’Briein clip from YouTube in the karate group chat, but when I watched it back it wasn’t that funny, so I felt stupid.
I then went somewhere and then asked the taxi to drop me off at the dentist. He dropped me off in town instead and I couldn’t remember where the dentist was. I walked through a shopping arcade – for some reason I was bare foot – and saw mother in WH Smith. I tried to hide to avoid her, but just kept going back and forth down the arcade. I think I gave in and met up with her eventually.
