I was watching Legends Of Tomorrow and there was an episode where they have to save Elvis Presley. There was a really nice version of Amazing Grace at the end sung by the guy playing Elvis, and I wanted to try and write something similar that was really simple but also really nice.

So I ran upstairs and picked up my guitar. I started strumming and came up with a basic chord progression, but I didn’t know what I was going to do for lyrics. So I just started singing and for some reason a song about nose picking came out.

I thought it was quite a funny song and sounded even funnier with an Elvis-style voice. So here it is.
