Stef Primpel
I was in town shopping in town with a guy called Connor I knew from school. We met up in a shopping centre and went to go down on the lift, but we called the wrong one which was the service lift that was out of order. We went down the stairs instead. On the way out, a girl in blue asked me which episodes the War Master was in. I knew she was on about doctor Who, so I told her The Sound of Drums and Utopia. I asked if she’d be watching Doctor Who that night and she said yes.
She said “So, do you want my number?” I, of course, said yes and she gave me a business card. I said I might have seen her at comic con and she said “Probably”. We said goodbye and she walked off. I couldn’t believe my luck.
Later, I was in Poundland I wanted to buy a toy for Zeta, but they were all too high up to reach. On the way out I realised I was no longer wearing my coat and I’d put the girl’s card in my coat pocket. I was annoyed and complained out loud that I’d had this dream and not been allowed to see her name on the card. A girl across the road came over and handed me a small envelope. I opened it and it glowed a little, with choir music playing behind, like it was some kind of magic treasure. I took the card out and saw the name was Stef Primpel.
I was just in time before my alarm went off
