Victoria Wood’s IT support centre
We were working in a new office building. One of our clients was based downstairs, so my boss told me to go down to room 2. I went down and there was a big waiting room with lots of chairs and then some desks with the staff. There were also offices behind a glass wall.
I didn’t know what to do, so I just sat down. I saw a guy I knew in school, so I went over and said hello but he just ignored me. I sat back down and my friend Laura came and sat next to me.
A big guy with tattoos sat the other side of me. I thought it was Jason Mamoa, so I took a sneaky photo, but then I noticed some other tattooed guys next to him and realised it wasn’t him.
The staff were picking people from the crowd to speak to and help with their IT problems. One of the staff was Victoria Wood, who came over and picked me. I tried to explain I wasn’t there for help, I’d been sent down by my boss but I didn’t know why. It made no sense and she left thinking I was very odd.
I said to Laura “I still can’t believe I work in the same building as Victoria Wood, and I made myself look like an idiot in front of her.”
I text my colleagues to see what they wanted me to do, but I didn’t hear back.
