I can’t remember much of last night’s dream, but I remember some.

At one point I was working at a hotel or restaurant (something like that) and someone told me about a secret door. I went down and there was a secret bar with loads of kids in it.

I sat at the bar and had a chat with them. There was a cute barmaid who I wanted to order a J2O from, but every time I went to ask her, I’d be interrupted.

The first time was by Ed Nygma from Gotham, who’d come to give the barmaid some facts. I showed him a toy I had that was one of those sticks with a shark on the end and when you pull the trigger on the other end it opens the shark’s mouth. He hated it and started having a go at me. I pointed out he’d shown someone else the exact same toy but with a whale on. He wasn’t having any of it, so I snapped the toy in two and he left.

The second time, the actress Miriam Marguiles appeared behind the bar and told the girl that the shift was over and everyone had to leave.

I went to the stairs to go back up to my work, but then I saw my karate instructor – who was apparently my boss at the restaurant – and someone else come down. I was worried that he’d caught me skiving (which I had been doing) but when he got to the bottom he handed me the keys to lock up and said to keep them, as he had loads.

There was also another bit to the dream where I’d travelled into the past and seen some things. I’d kept it from my nan because I’d seen something to do with her, but I can’t remember what it was. I was telling my mother and nan about my day and accidentally let slip that I’d travelled to the past. Mother said to tell Nan what had happened. I warned her before that she wouldn’t like it and apologised profusely. I told her what I’d seen and after she went silent and ignored me.

I can’t remember what happened after that.
