I went up to the local shops and there was one of those shops that sells lots of random things. As I walked past I noticed some Doctor Who toys with the new branding on, so I went in to have a look. The shop had light grey walls and furnishings, and was quite sparsely stocked. I found the toys and the first one I saw was a figure of the First Doctor, which looked pretty good. But then all the rest were the First Doctor with alternate heads – Ood, Sensorite and Zygon were just some I remember. They weren’t even characters from the First Doctor era. They were clearly knock-off toys, which I’m sure I’ve seen before either in a dream or real life. So I casually left, but the shop owner seemed annoyed I hadn’t bought anything and followed me out of the shop, pointing out other Doctor Who toys he had that looked just the same.

I went next door to a Chinese restaurant that I was apparently working in an managed to slip in before he saw me. Again, the room didn’t have much in it (my dreams seem to have budgetary issues recently). I just stayed and watched his shadow on the blinds, waiting for him to leave. But I didn’t realise I’d left the door open a crack, though the chain was still pulled across. He saw me through the gap and pushed his head against the door. He was shouting quite aggressively and trying to reach through and push the door open. It was quite frightening.

I was woken by the dog barking, but I was still a little scared from the dream.
