On The Busses
The dream started off with me and Mike on the bus going to the cinema. At one point, a couple of homeless people got on. Mike saw a woman going through her purse and he decided to flash a £100 note that he’d recently got. The note was similar to a £10 note but A5 size.
One of the homeless people said to the other, ‘You’ve put too much coin polish remover on.’ By which he meant that the other homeless guy had used coin polish remover to dirty up his face. At one point, one of the homeless people started flirting with Mike. We both felt uncomfortable, so we got off the bus.
There was also mention of ‘soot in my hood’, but I don’t recall what that was about. I then got mugged while we were at the bus stop.
We decided to give up on getting the bus and started walking. While we were walking, a woman pointed out the redness of the sky to her two children. It really was a vivid red, it looked stunning. The one child pointed out that it looked even better if you came outside to see it, but the mother insisted on looking through a dirty window.
Later on, I was at home and talking to my friend Laura on Skype. She told me she’d sent me some stuff to look at. The one thing was a news article, but I forget what it was about. The other was a magazine for a primary school and there was a two page spread about a workshop Laura had done at the school teaching children music. There was even a video clip embedded onto the page. Apparently the workshop had gone down really well, so that was good.
