The Circus Showdown

In a supermarket, shopping, and somehow got involved in a battle with a guy. We hid either end of a long display unit. We’d try to to see when the other came out, and occasionally threw things at each other. After a while, I was getting bored, so I slipped away to do some shopping.

While I was away, he blew up his end of the unit with explosives. Luckily nobody was hurt, but he was still taken away by security. The girl at the till blamed me. I tried to argue, but realised she was kinda right because I’d encouraged the guy, so accepted I was partly responsible.

Later I was on the bus with Mike and mom. Someone had a game that they let me have. It was like a notepad, but it was digital and has a little screen at the top. The screen would show a word and you had to draw it, and the other person had to guess what it was. I asked the guy next to me if he wanted to play and he said yes. The word was show, so I drew a circus – tent, see saw, clown and something else. It took him a while, but he guessed “showdown”. I said he was close and the screen flashed up with “circus showdown”, so he won.

He asked if he could have a go at drawing, so I said he could, but he’d have to be quick as I was getting off at the next stop. I can’t remember what he drew, but it was simple and he did I quickly and I guessed it.

We got off the bus and we were in town. Mike asked if I could show him where the market was last time we’d been in town. I knew it was Moore street, but I knew mom didn’t want us going there and we were heading off in the opposite direction, so I pointed out to Mike which way to go.
